About Derik
My reward for working with Nickelsen Home Inspections is the challenge and joy of serving home owners, buyers and sellers in the Vancouver Washington / Clark County region.
One’s home is, most likely, their greatest financial investment and commitment. As such, my goal at each inspection is to equip my clients with the necessary knowledge needed to make an educated decision in relation to their home.
Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, I have served the community as a volunteer firefighter in Clark County, Clackamas County (Oregon) and Barnes County in North Dakota. After this time, I took advantage of the knowledge I had attained fighting fires and performing fire safety inspection services, and moved into a career as a home inspector which has long been a rewarding and exciting profession!
