As
a resident in the Southwest Washington since 1979—specifically Camas,
WA for 30 years—I am a witness to the defined quality of living for all
who choose to make this area their home. As a home owner since that time, I
realize the significance of making an educated decision about real estate, and
I bring both the personal and professional knowledge that I have attained in
that regard into your home.
Having worked for the City
of Washougal for over 18 years, where duties included the inspecting, maintaining
and repairing of commercial property and publicly owned buildings, as well as
the inspection of playgrounds as a Certified Playground Inspector, it was an
easy transition for me when I began to focus on residential inspections in the
late 1990’s where I partnered with another local inspector and co-owned
and operated Inspection Consulting, Inc. After many years I decided that my
vision for SW Washington and NW Oregon consumers demanded something new and
exciting, and thus Nickelsen Home Inspections, LLC was established in 2005.
In my 11 years as a home inspector, after having performed 8,000+ home inspections,
my work as a home inspector has been nothing less than exciting.
Whether I am working for
a first time home buyer, or inspecting an investor’s vacation home, my
local experience is working for you. Licensed with the Washington State Department
of Agriculture and a member of the Washington State Pest Management Association,
I have attained the knowledge and expertise necessary to prosper not only as
a home inspector, but as the owner of this locally owned and operated inspection
